Site Managers – Commercial Construction | Expressions of Interest

About the opportunity

As a Site Manager, you’ll take ownership of day-to-day site operations, leading your team and subcontractors to deliver commercial projects safely, on program and to a high standard. You’ll work closely with Project Managers, Site Engineers, consultants and clients from site establishment through to practical completion and handover.

Typical responsibilities include:

- Leading all site activities, including site establishment, logistics and sequencing
- Managing and coordinating subcontractors, trades and site personnel
- Driving a strong safety culture and ensuring WHS compliance across the site
- Monitoring program, progress and productivity, and resolving issues as they arise
- Overseeing quality control, inspections, ITPs and defect management
- Liaising with consultants, authorities and clients on site matters
- Mentoring and developing Site Engineers and Foremen





About you

You’re a confident leader who knows how to run a site and keep a project moving. Ideally you’ll have:

- Proven experience as a Site Manager on commercial projects, such as education, health, retail, aged care or multi-residential
- Strong knowledge of construction methodology, programming and sequencing
- A genuine commitment to safety and quality
- Excellent leadership, communication and problem-solving skills
- The ability to build strong working relationships with subcontractors and clients

A trade background or tertiary qualifications in Construction Management, will be well regarded.
