The Role
In this role you will support our Senior Associate and 2 lawyers on estate planning, administration and litigation matters. Your role includes:
Preparation and drafting of Wills, EPOA’s, Advance Health Directives
Preparing Transmission Applications, Records of Death and other Titles documents
Preparing estate administration forms for banks, share registries and other institutions
Liaising with clients, beneficiaries and other parties with professionalism, empathy and discretion.
Opening files, preparing client service agreements and maintaining accurate records.
Preparing court documents such as probate applications
Managing diaries, appointments, key dates and follow-up tasks.
Assisting with billing and the day-to-day administration of matters.
This is a maternity position with the potential to turn into a ongoing contract.
Who We’re Looking For:
- Experience – Previous experience as a paralegal is required.
- Excellent Communication – Strong interpersonal skills and a customer-focused approach.
- Highly Organised – Ability to juggle multiple tasks and prioritise effectively in a busy office.
- Tech-Savvy – Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Leap.
- Attention to Detail – Accuracy is essential in legal administration.
- Ability to Work Under Pressure – A proactive mindset with the ability to keep the office running efficiently.
- Team Player – Happy to jump in and help wherever needed
