Australian Glass Group (AGG) is a leading Australian glass processing manufacturer with operations across Victoria, New South Wales and Tasmania. We are recognised for delivering high-quality products and exceptional service to our customers nationwide.

We are seeking a driven, safety-focused Despatch Team Leader to lead day-to-day despatch operations at our Girraween facility.

This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll coordinate people, vehicles, production priorities, and customer requirements to ensure our products are checked, loaded, and dispatched safely, accurately, and on time.

About the Role

As Despatch Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading and coordinating daily despatch activities, ensuring products are prepared and delivered in accordance with customer and business requirements.

Key responsibilities include:

- Leading and supporting the despatch team to achieve daily operational targets
- Coordinating loading schedules, delivery priorities and transport requirements
- Ensuring all products are checked and loaded accurately before dispatch
- Maintaining high standards of safety, quality and housekeeping throughout the despatch area
- Monitoring load accuracy, delivery performance and productivity outcomes
- Liaising with production teams to ensure smooth handovers and workflow management
- Providing coaching,



guidance and training to team members
- Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement across despatch processes
- Promoting a positive team culture focused on accountability, safety and customer service

About You

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

- Previous experience in a despatch, warehouse, manufacturing or transport setting
- Demonstrated experience leading or supervising teams
- Strong organisational and time-management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement
- Sound understanding of workplace health and safety requirements
- Solid computer skills and experience using warehouse or inventory systems

Highly regarded:

- Experience within the glass processing, glazing or IGU manufacturing industry
- Knowledge of load restraint requirements and transport compliance
- Experience coordinating transport or delivery schedules
