Adventist Aged Care is seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse to join the team at the Kings Langley facility on a casual basis. The role involves delivering individualised, clinically appropriate nursing care to residents in an aged care setting.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver individualised, clinically appropriate nursing care to residents.
- Promote residents' wellbeing, independence and enablement through a holistic approach to clinical care.
- Support, guide and mentor care and clinical team members.
- Conduct nursing assessments and develop individualised care plans based on residents' needs.
- Provide professional nursing advice, guidance and support to residents and their families.
- Develop positive working relationships with fellow nurses and treating health professionals to maintain the highest standards of care.
- Provide general nursing care to older people.
- Demonstrate clinical leadership and supporting the care team.
- Deliver high-quality clinical care and maintain appropriate clinical standards.
About you
- Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered Nurse.
- Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent qualification.
- A minimum of 2-year experience is essential.
- Experience working in an aged care setting (desirable).
- Experience supervising staff in a clinical or care setting.
- Availability and flexibility to work across all shifts, including morning, afternoon and night duty essential.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Knowledge of the Australian National Aged Care Classification (AN-ACC) system.
- Knowledge and understanding of the Aged Care Act 2024 and relevant aged care standards.
- Current National Police Check, or willingness to obtain one.
