About the Role
Our client is a leading Australian manufacturer of quality doors and building products, currently seeking reliable and physically fit Machine Operator to join their busy warehouse and manufacturing team in Brisbane.
Day Shift - 6:00 AM-2:00 PM | $37.99 /hr + Super
Key Responsibilities
- Operate an automated machine used for door hinging.
- Perform a balanced mix of machine operation and general warehouse duties as required
- Load, unload and move stock safely
- Undertake regular manual handling
- Maintain a clean, safe and organized work environment
- Follow workplace health and safety procedures
About You
- Atleast 1 year Basic machine operating, production or warehouse experience.
- Experience in timber processing, door manufacturing or a similar manufacturing workplace (desirable, but not essential).
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
- Able to safely handle products weighing up to approximately 40kg with assistance
- Reliable, punctual and committed to ongoing work
- Good attention to detail and a strong work ethic
- Able to work effectively as part of a team
- Must have full and unrestricted working rights in Australia
Training & Support:
Full training provided, with an estimated training period of 1-3 months depending on your learning progress.
Initial training will focus on basic manual tasks before progressing to machine operation.
Work involves timber materials.
You’ll need to go on a site tour/meet & greet (on-site) before commencing.
Successful candidates will be required to complete pre-employment medical and Drug & Alcohol testing prior to commencement.
