Looking for more than just a job? Come join a young, growing business where good people are valued, hard work is rewarded, and there’s room to build a career.
Perth Materials Blowing (PMB) is looking for a motivated, hands-on Team Leader to join our growing team. If you have a positive attitude, enjoy working with good people, take pride in your work and want to be part of a high-performing team, we want to hear from you.
We offer great pay, full award entitlements, opportunities for bonuses when the business performs well, and a workplace culture built around teamwork, respect and getting the job done right.
At PMB, we believe that when our people do well, the whole business does well.
About PMB
Perth Materials Blowing is WA’s leading provider of blower truck services, using specialised equipment and innovative technology to transform how landscaping, civil construction and maintenance projects are completed.
Since being established in 2018, PMB has grown into a recognised and respected business across Perth. We’re ambitious, continually investing in our equipment and people, and focused on building a business that our team is proud to be part of.
We’re a positive and driven business with a strong focus on performance, teamwork, safety and looking after our people. As we continue to grow, we want good people to grow with us.
The Role
This is a hands-on team leader position where you’ll lead your own crew to deliver soil, mulch and sand across Perth and regional locations.
You’ll be responsible for setting the standard on‑site, keeping your team motivated, working safely and ensuring every job is completed efficiently and to a high standard.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Leading your crew and conducting daily pre-starts.
- Driving the truck safely to and from job sites.
- Operating specialised blower truck equipment to install materials.
- Working alongside your team and ensuring quality outcomes.
- Assisting with site clean‑up and maintaining a professional work environment.
- Following all safety procedures and project requirements.
- Taking pride in your work and helping maintain PMB’s high standards.
- Building your leadership skills and helping develop the people around you.
This is a physical, hands‑on role involving regular manual handling. We’re looking for someone who is happy to roll up their sleeves, lead by example and take ownership of their work.
Why Work at PMB?
Great pay and proper entitlements
We believe people should be paid fairly for the work they do. We recognise and pay above applicable award entitlements, including overtime at 1.5x and 2x loading, along with applicable leave loading and other entitlements.
Bonus opportunities
When the business performs well, we want our people to share in that success. There is potential for additional performance‑based bonuses when business conditions and results allow.
A genuinely positive work culture
We’re building a workplace where people enjoy coming to work, support one another and take pride in what they achieve together. We value a good attitude, reliability, teamwork and people who want to make a difference.
Training, tickets and licences paid for
We’re prepared to invest in the right people. PMB will support the development of your skills and, where agreed as part of your training and development, cover the cost of relevant tickets, licences and training programs.
Real opportunities to grow
We’re a growing business,
which means opportunities can develop for people who show initiative, leadership and a commitment to getting results. We want team members who are keen to learn, take on more responsibility and build a long‑term future with us.
Modern equipment and an established operation
Work with specialised equipment in a business that continues to invest in its fleet, systems and people.
A team that values performance
We work hard, hold ourselves to high standards and recognise the contribution our people make. We want everyone to succeed, and we believe a robust team starts with treating people well.
Who We’re Looking For
- Reliable, motivated and ready to take ownership.
- Positive and solutions‑focused.
- Comfortable leading a small crew of 2‑3 and setting a good example.
- Safety‑conscious and committed to quality work.
- Physically fit and willing to undertake manual tasks.
- Outcome‑focused, with a strong work ethic.
- Keen to learn, develop and grow with the business.
