We're Monica and Justin. We started Unbound Minds after years in practices that talked about work-life balance and ran the opposite, so we built the one we wished we'd worked in. Here is what that looks like on a Tuesday.

The three things you're actually checking

Pay. Transparent bands, $130,000 to $160,000 depending on registration level and experience, reviewed every year, guaranteed. Everything substantial gets billed. Reports, longer calls, case conferences, all of it.

Hours. Minimum two days, up to five. We build the week around the right person, not the other way round. Client cancels at 2pm? Don't sit there warming a chair. Go home and write your notes from the couch. Therapy is face to face in clinic, but the rest of your week is treated like it belongs to you.

Admin. A dedicated client care team runs booking, billing and scheduling. Sessions are 50 minutes with note-taking built in, plus 90 minutes of protected admin time every single day. AI note-taking, with client consent at intake, so your evenings come back.

The work itself

We're a full breadth practice. Children, adolescents, adults, couples, the full range of what walks through a clinic door, and your caseload is matched to what you're valuable at and want more of, not whatever is left over. Strong in anxiety, trauma, relationships,



parent work? We route you that work and hold off on what doesn't fit.

Right now the tight spot is kids. More families want their children seen than our current team has room for, so we need someone who is confident in the room with a seven year old and just as comfortable with their parents afterwards. School refusal, anxiety, big feelings that have outgrown the household's tools. If that's part of your week alongside your adult work, that's the fit.

Supervision is monthly group plus dedicated 1 on 1, and there's a room full of colleagues to debrief with when a session lands heavy. Look, we're not going to pretend you'll never have a hard week here, but you won't be carrying it on your own.

The rest

A real path forward, registered and clinical psychologists through to senior roles. A $1,500 PD budget, long service leave after 3 years rather than 10, and salary packaging.

Who we're after

An AHPRA-registered psychologist who does thoughtful clinical work and wants to do it somewhere sane. Ideally 2+ years. Earlier and good? Apply anyway. Heart, judgment and care for clients matter more to us than a perfect CV.
