About the Role

As a Welder / Boilermaker at GSL Fab, you will play a key role in the fabrication and production of our industry-leading stainless steel performance products.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Fabricating and TIG welding stainless steel products to a high standard
- Assembling and welding laser-cut stainless steel components
- Marking, cutting, grinding, and preparing stainless steel and aluminium materials
- Reading and interpreting fabrication drawings
- Carrying out custom fabrication work and product development when required




- Conducting quality checks to ensure products meet company standards
- Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe work environment
- Following all workplace health and safety procedures
- Supporting the wider production team as required

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Trade qualifications as a Boilermaker, Welder, Fabricator, or equivalent
- Proven TIG welding experience
- Experience working with stainless steel (essential)
- Experience working with aluminium (highly regarded)
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Ability to work efficiently while meeting production deadlines
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- A motivated and enthusiastic attitude with a willingness to learn
- Excellent problem-solving skills and initiative
- Commitment to workplace health and safety
- Current Australian driver's licence
- Full Australian working rights

Work Hours

Enjoy an excellent work-life balance with our workshop operating hours:

Monday to Thursday: 7:00am - 5:00pm

Friday: 7:00am - 11:00am

That's an early finish every Friday to get a head start on the weekend.
