Bartender (Casual), Black Hide Queen's Wharf

Gambaro Hospitality Group is seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender on a casual basis to join the team at Black Hide Queen's Wharf in Brisbane. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a premium hospitality venue, delivering exceptional service and crafting quality beverages in a energetic and fast-paced environment. As a casual position, you'll enjoy flexibility whilst being part of a professional team that values excellence and customer satisfaction. The role is based at our Queen's Wharf location in Brisbane QLD 4000.

What you'll be doing

- Preparing and serving a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests with precision and flair
- Creating classic and contemporary cocktails whilst maintaining consistency and quality standards
- Providing knowledgeable recommendations on spirits, wines and beers to enhance the guest experience
- Maintaining a clean, organised and safe bar environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations
- Operating the point-of-sale system accurately and processing payments securely
- Engaging with guests in a professional and friendly manner, ensuring exceptional customer service at all times
- Collaborating with bar staff and other team members to ensure efficient service during busy periods
- Restocking bar supplies and monitoring inventory levels
- Adhering to responsible service of alcohol practices and all relevant venue policies

What we're looking for

- Proven experience (more than 1 year) working as a bartender in a high-volume or premium hospitality venue, preferably with cocktail experience




- Strong knowledge of spirits, wines, beers and cocktail preparation techniques
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Proficiency with point-of-sale systems and cash handling procedures
- A thorough understanding of responsible service of alcohol practices and relevant legislation
- Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments, multi-tasking during peak service times
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of presentation and hygiene
- Flexibility and reliability, with the ability to work a variety of shifts including evenings, weekends and public holidays
- Relevant hospitality certifications, specifically RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) and Food Safety Certificate is a must.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
