Electrician – Food Manufacturing Location: Morningside, QLD
Pay Rate: $70 per hour
Roster: 3 days on / 3 days off
Shift: 6:00am – 6:00pm
Employment Type: Full-time / Permanent
About the Role We are currently seeking an experienced Electrician to join the maintenance team of a well-established food manufacturing facility in Morningside.
This is a great opportunity for an industrial electrician looking for a consistent 3 days on / 3 days off roster, 12-hour shifts and excellent work-life balance.
Key Responsibilities
- Preventative and reactive electrical maintenance
- Electrical fault finding and breakdown repairs
- Maintenance of production and processing equipment
- Troubleshooting electrical faults
- Working with motors, sensors, conveyors and control systems
- Carrying out electrical repairs and modifications
- Supporting the production team to minimise downtime
- Ensuring all work is completed safely and to required standards
About You
- Qualified Electrician with a current electrical licence QLD
- Previous industrial or food manufacturing experience
- Strong electrical fault-finding and troubleshooting skills
- Experience working with production machinery
- Able to work independently and as part of a maintenance team
- Strong safety focus
- Comfortable working 12-hour shifts
