BLOCKOUT is seeking a Casual Sales Assistant to join our team at our Biggera Waters store in Queensland. This is a casual position offering consistent working arrangements. As a Sales Assistant, you will be the face of BLOCKOUT, delivering exceptional customer service and driving sales through product knowledge, enthusiasm and a genuine commitment to meeting customer needs. This role is integral to creating a positive shopping experience and contributing to the store's success in the competitive retail and consumer products sector.

What you'll be doing

Greeting customers warmly and professionally upon arrival at the store

Providing product information and recommendations based on customer requirements and preferences

Processing sales transactions accurately and efficiently using point-of-sale systems

Maintaining store displays and ensuring merchandise is well-organised, clean and visually appealing

Restocking shelves and managing inventory levels throughout the day

Handling customer enquiries and resolving complaints with professionalism and courtesy

Supporting promotional activities and implementing in-store marketing initiatives

Maintaining cleanliness and tidiness of the store setting, including fitting rooms and customer areas

Collaborating with team members to meet sales targets and business objectives

What we're looking for

Previous retail or customer service experience is highly desirable

Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers and build rapport

Friendly, professional and approachable demeanour with a genuine interest in helping others





Reliable and punctual with the flexibility to work casual hours as required

Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Basic numeracy skills for handling cash and processing transactions

Willingness to learn about products and develop product knowledge

Positive attitude towards meeting targets and contributing to store success
