About the role

Reporting directly to the Duty Manager, the Housekeeping Supervisor / Team Leader will lead by example in performing and overseeing the day to day activities of the housekeeping department whilst simultaneously creating and maintaining a unique guest experience. Being a small site, the position may also be required to assist in all other positions from time to time.

Key responsibilities

- Direct and oversee room service and housekeeping activities

- Supervise security arrangements, and garden and property maintenance

- Assess and review customer satisfaction

- Oversee purchasing activities

- Lead the housekeeping team during season, and be self-directed out of season to ensure all ongoing housekeeping maintenance tasks are done

- Enhance the guest experience through housekeeping services

- Provide accurate daily, weekly and monthly reports as directed by the Duty Manager





- Maintain full understanding of HAZOPs and relevant regulations related to OH&S;

About you

- Proven experience as a housekeeper

- Prior experience as a team lead in housekeeping

- Solid organisational skills

- Self-starting with attention to detail

- Manual drivers licence

- Experience in HAZOP

- Friendly mannerisms and fluent in English

- Excellent presentation and grooming standards

- Current senior first aid and CPR (Desired)

- Familiarity with the tourism industry (Desired)
