We currently employ approximately 35–40 staff and expect to grow to approximately 50 employees by mid-2027.

We are seeking an experienced and proactive HR & People Manager to support our growing team, strengthen our HR processes and work closely with our clinic managers and business owners.

This is a long-term opportunity offering flexibility, career progression and significant remuneration growth.

About the Role

The position will initially be part-time, with opportunities to increase hours and potentially transition into a full-time role as our clinics grow.

For candidates seeking additional hours, we are open to incorporating other operational responsibilities, such as facilities and asset management, equipment servicing coordination, or general business administration.

The role can be tailored to suit the successful candidate's experience and interests.

Key Responsibilities

HR Management & Compliance

- Manage employee relations, performance issues, disciplinary processes, workplace investigations and terminations.

- Provide guidance on Fair Work legislation, Contemporary Awards, employment contracts and entitlements.

- Develop and maintain HR policies, procedures and employee documentation.

Recruitment & Staff Development

- Coordinate recruitment, interviews, onboarding and probation reviews.

- Manage performance appraisals, employee development and retention strategies.

- Support workforce planning as our group continues to expand.

Leadership & Operations

- Provide HR advice and support to clinic managers and business owners.

- Assist with leadership development, workplace culture and conflict resolution.

- Improve HR systems, processes and operational efficiency.

- Assist with remuneration reviews, employee classifications and HR-related payroll matters.

- Optionally take on broader operational and facilities management responsibilities.

About You

We are looking for someone who is organised, approachable, proactive and confident managing HR matters independently.

Ideally, you will have:

- Previous experience in HR management, HR advisory or People & Culture.

- Strong knowledge of Australian employment legislation and Fair Work requirements.

- Experience handling employee relations, disciplinary matters and workplace investigations.

- Excellent communication,

organisational and conflict-resolution skills.

- The ability to work independently, exercise sound judgement and take ownership of responsibilities.

Healthcare or dental industry experience is advantageous but not essential.

Remuneration & Career Progression

$55–$75 per hour + superannuation, depending on experience and capabilities.

We believe in rewarding employees who demonstrate initiative, strong performance and a willingness to grow with our business.

We offer:

- Significant opportunities for wage increases as responsibilities grow.

- Performance-based bonuses linked to individual contribution and business growth.

- Flexible part-time hours, with some work-from-home arrangements open to discussion.

- Opportunity to transition into full time employment.

- Potential to expand into broader management and operational responsibilities.

- Long-term career progression within a growing dental group.

As our clinics expand, we are open to substantially increasing remuneration and offering additional incentives to individuals who demonstrate strong performance and take on greater responsibilities.
