We are currently seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Laboratory Technician to join our team situated midway between Brisbane and the Gold Coast. The position on offer will assist our business in servicing the needs of the pharmaceutical, complementary medicines and veterinary industries. Entry level candidates are welcome to apply for this position.
Your main duties will include: > Testing of finished products and raw materials for physical parameters such as disintegration, hardness, moisture, friability, particle size and appearance. Optical rotation, absorbance, IR, uniformity of mass and other testing may also be included.
> Testing of finished products and raw materials using traditional wet chemistry techniques. > Analysis of samples by HPLC > Review of data.
> Computer data entry.
Additional duties may include but not be limited to: > Preparation of solutions, reagents etc.
> Cleaning of glassware and work areas. The position on offer is a full time position working 38 hours per week. The successful applicant will have valuable verbal and written communication skills and be able to work autonomously or in a group.
