Geelong Rug Spa is a trusted local business specialising in professional rug cleaning. Alongside our sister business, Geelong Blind Cleaning & Repairs, we pride ourselves on excellent customer service, attention to detail and fast, reliable service.

We're looking for a motivated, flexible team member to join our hands-on, friendly team and work across both businesses.

Role Overview

As a Rug & Blind Cleaning Technician, you'll play a key role in keeping our operations running smoothly. This is a varied role combining rug washing, delivery driving, customer service and support for our blind cleaning services.

This is a permanent part-time position offering a minimum of 30 hours per week, Monday to Thursday. There is flexibility to increase hours towards full-time, with the opportunity for ongoing full-time employment after probation for the right candidate.

If you enjoy a mix of physical work, customer interaction and hands-on problem solving, this role could be perfect for you.

Key Responsibilities

- Wash, clean and prepare rugs and blinds using professional equipment and techniques.

- Deliver and collect items safely and on time.

- Assist customers in person and over the phone with enquiries, bookings and service updates.

- Support our blind cleaning operations as needed.

- Maintain a clean, safe and organised workspace.

- Follow all safety guidelines and proper handling procedures for cleaning chemicals and equipment.

Skills & Attributes

- Reliable, punctual and self-motivated.





- Good communication and customer service skills.

- Strong problem-solving ability with a desire to learn and continually develop.

- Ability to work independently without supervision, as well as part of a cohesive team.

- Comfortable with physical work, including lifting and moving rugs and blinds. This is a physically demanding role requiring frequent lifting, moving and carrying.

- Able to drive a delivery vehicle (valid full driver's licence and good driving record required).

- Flexible and willing to learn across different aspects of both businesses.

- Experience isn't required; a can-do attitude and openness to learning new skills are what matter most.
