We are seeking an experienced Technical Test Lead to drive the design and implementation of modern, scalable test automation solutions across a complex, multi-SaaS technology environment.

This is a hands-on technical leadership opportunity suited to someone with strong software engineering expertise who can design automation frameworks, influence quality engineering practices and deliver practical improvements across integrated platforms.

The successful candidate will combine technical depth with the ability to mentor engineering teams, establish standards and improve confidence in software delivery.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop and implement scalable automation frameworks across API, integration and UI testing.

- Champion an API-first testing approach, incorporating contract testing, integration testing and end-to-end validation.

- Embed automated quality gates into CI/CD pipelines to improve release reliability and delivery efficiency.

- Establish effective test data management practices, including provisioning, masking and obfuscation of sensitive information.

- Develop performance and compatibility testing approaches across cloud-hosted environments.

- Provide hands-on technical leadership through code reviews, mentoring and the establishment of engineering standards.





- Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to improve automation capability and testing maturity.

- Define meaningful quality metrics and dashboards to measure automation stability, coverage and effectiveness.

Skills & Experience

To succeed in this role, you will demonstrate:

- Proven experience as a Technical Test Lead, Senior SDET, Automation Architect or similar.

- Robust hands-on software engineering skills, particularly in designing and building automation frameworks rather than simply maintaining existing scripts.

- Extensive experience with API automation, contract testing, integration testing and end-to-end test orchestration.

- Practical experience implementing automated testing within CI/CD pipelines, particularly GitHub-based workflows.

- Experience using modern automation tools.

- Knowledge of secure test data management

- Experience with performance testing, compatibility testing and cloud-hosted environments, ideally AWS.

- Strong communication skills and the ability to mentor technical teams and influence engineering practices.
