About the Role

You'll be an important part of our team, helping deliver an exceptional patient experience while keeping the practice running smoothly.





Responsibilities include:

- Patient reception, appointment management and correspondence.

- Private billing, Medicare and Workers Compensation accounts.

- Surgical bookings, quotations and theatre coordination.

- Liaising with patients, hospitals, insurers and healthcare professionals.

- General specialist practice administration.

Who We're Looking For

We're particularly interested in experienced, confident and highly organised medical receptionists who can hit the ground running.

The ideal candidate will have:

- At least 2 years' medical reception experience, preferably in a specialist or surgical practice.

- Strong knowledge of private billing, Medicare and Workers Compensation.

- Experience with Genie/Gentu (highly regarded).

- Excellent communication skills and a warm, polished and professional manner.

- Exceptional attention to detail, reliability and organisational ability.

- The confidence to work independently, anticipate problems and take initiative.

- Australian working rights.

Extensive specialist practice experience, surgical booking expertise or senior medical administration experience will be particularly highly valued and reflected in remuneration.
