About Us

Established in 1980, we are a small, third-generation family-run denture clinic in Panania. We aren't a corporate clinic with strict KPIs and a revolving door of staff. It’s a close-knit, straightforward setup—just our Dental Prosthetist and our reception team.

Many of our patients have been coming to us for decades. They are generally an older demographic who appreciate a proper conversation, a warm smile, and genuine, old-fashioned customer service. We pride ourselves on an honest, welcoming environment where patients are treated like family, not numbers.

The Role

With one of our long-standing team members moving on, we are looking for a reliable, hard working, down-to-earth Dental Receptionist / Clinical All-Rounder to join us 3 days a week.

This is a hands-on role where you will manage the front desk while also keeping the busy clinical side running smoothly. If you like the sound of a steady, low-drama and fast paced position where you can settle in for the long term, do great work, and go home on time, this is the perfect fit.

What You'll Be Doing

- Managing the front desk: Warmly greeting patients, handling incoming phone calls, and making patients feel totally welcome.

- Clinic administration: Scheduling appointments, processing billing/HICAPS and cash payments while keeping records straight using Dental for Windows (D4W) & Xero accounting software.

- Clinical assisting: Efficiently and accurately cleaning then setting up the clinic between patient visits.

- Infection control:



Sterilising instruments and maintaining strict hygiene and compliance standards.

- Keeping things ticking: Dispatching lab work, ordering supplies, and maintaining a tidy on-site lab area.

Who We Are Looking For

- Communication & Heart: You have a brilliant, articulate phone manner. You speak clearly and with genuine warmth, and you know how to show patience and care toward an older generation of patients. You can give them great service while feeling like they're talking to a friend.

- Looking to Settle In: You are seeking a stable, permanent 3-day-a-week job for the long haul, rather than a stepping stone to something else.

- Ideally Having Dental Experience: You know your way around a dental clinic (sterilisation, room setups, front desk) and ideally have experience with Dental for Windows (D4W).

- Initiative: You have common sense and don't need micromanaging. If you see a job that needs doing, you take the initiative to get it done.
