AnimalGuard is an Australian animal-health technology company developing a new digital platform to support animal owners and veterinary care.

We are seeking an experienced equine veterinarian to undertake an independent clinical review of equine health content currently in development.

The engagement will focus on equine colic.

The engagement

This is a paid, remote, project-based independent contractor engagement that can be completed around existing clinical commitments.

AnimalGuard will provide the prepared content and structured review materials. The reviewer will be asked to assess the clinical accuracy, safety, clarity and completeness of the material and provide documented recommendations.

The reviewer provides independent professional feedback on the material supplied. AnimalGuard retains responsibility for product and implementation decisions.

The review is to be completed within 14 calendar days and includes one reasonable follow-up clarification round.

Who we're looking for

We are particularly interested in veterinarians with substantial experience in:

- equine clinical practice;
- equine colic;
- emergency and critical care; and/or




- equine internal medicine.

Applicants must:
- hold current Australian veterinary registration;
- have solid practical equine clinical experience;
- be able to provide clear, independent and critical clinical feedback;
- be available to complete the review within the required timeframe; and
- be willing to enter into AnimalGuard's Veterinary Reviewer Agreement, including confidentiality, intellectual property and conflict-of-interest provisions.

Specialist qualifications are highly regarded but not essential. Experienced equine general practitioners and ambulatory veterinarians are strongly encouraged to apply.

Remuneration

$1,200 + GST where applicable for the colic review.
