What a week might look like Run 1: Canberra and Goulburn Mon: Hook up a pre-loaded trailer and head for Canberra for two suburban drops Tue: Two drops around Goulburn, home Tuesday night Run 2: Newcastle and the Hunter Wed: Hook up the second trailer and head for Newcastle, with two drops in the afternoon Thu: Two drops in North Newcastle, two more in Singleton, then start heading home Fri: Back in the yard by 10am Next week? from capital cities to the back of beyond Unload on site with the truck-mounted Moffett Check load restraint before departure and re-secure after each drop Run pre-start checks, keep the truck clean and report any maintenance issues Keep delivery paperwork and work diary records accurate Follow Chain of Responsibility and on-site safety rules every time What you’ll bring Current HC or MC licence (positions available for both) Solid heavy vehicle experience. Flatbed or steel delivery is a bonus. Forklift licence and Moffett experience (highly advantageous) BFM accreditation (highly advantageous) Good load restraint know-how Happy to spend 3–5 nights away each week Ability to leave on a Sunday when required A friendly, professional manner with customers Reliable, self-motivated and fit for hands-on work What’s in it for you $45–$48 per hour Trailers loaded and ready to go, so you spend your time driving Modern Mercedes prime movers and trailers Home on weekends, with the odd Sunday departure for early Monday drops Paid to see parts of Australia most people never get to Full-time, reliable work with a growing Australian manufacturer
