We're hiring: Scrum Master (Contract, 0.5 FTE), Tasmania, hybrid
K2 Projects is a Hobart firm that places ICT project professionals with government and enterprise clients across Tasmania and Australia. We're looking for an experienced Scrum Master to put forward for a part-time contract with a major Tasmanian utility.
You'll work with the client's Infrastructure team to set up Agile ways of working that last. It's a hands-on role: you'll run the ceremonies, coach the team and leave them able to keep it going once you've finished.
What you'll do
- Run sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, retros and backlog refinement
- Coach the team, Product Owners and stakeholders on agile practices
- Keep Jira, the backlog and reporting current and visible
- Transparent blockers, dependencies and risks
- Write an early Agile uplift plan and a clean handover at the end
What we're after
- CSM, PSM or equivalent, plus 2+ years as a Scrum Master
- Experience in complex technology delivery
- Strong facilitation, coaching and stakeholder skills
- High proficiency in Jira, Tempo and Microsoft 365
The details
- About 2.5 days a week, hybrid
- 3-month initial contract with an option to extend
- Starts as soon as the contract is signed
- Must be based in Australia
