About Fusion Furniture

Fusion Furniture is a fast-growing Australian furniture retailer based in Fyshwick, Canberra. We’re known for stylish furniture, strong value, fast delivery, hands-on customer service and a team that gets things done.

We’re looking for someone who wants more than a basic retail job.

This role is for an energetic, confident and reliable person who can sell, communicate well, create content, help keep the showroom looking great and support the team across different parts of the business.

You do not need years of furniture experience. We can teach product knowledge. What matters most is attitude, confidence, reliability, willingness to learn and the ability to take ownership.

What you’ll be doing

Greet customers and help them choose the right furniture for their home

Build rapport, understand customer needs and confidently close sales

Prepare quotes, process orders and follow up with customers

Learn our full product range including lounges, dining, beds, mattresses and home furniture

Help maintain strong showroom presentation and merchandising standards

Assist with stock checks, pricing, product displays and general showroom organisation

Support customer enquiries before and after the sale

Help coordinate with delivery and warehouse teams when required

Create simple social media content for TikTok, Instagram and Facebook

Appear in product videos if comfortable on camera

Help film current arrivals, promotions, product demonstrations and showroom content

Contribute ideas for marketing, promotions and improving the customer experience





Work toward individual and store sales targets

Be willing to help wherever needed — this is a growing business and everyone contributes

Who we’re looking for

We’re looking for someone who is:

Confident speaking with customers

Friendly, positive and easy to talk to

Hungry to learn and improve

Reliable and punctual

Comfortable working toward sales targets

Able to take initiative without needing constant supervision

Comfortable using social media and a smartphone

Creative and willing to contribute ideas

Well-presented and professional A team player who is happy to help outside their main responsibilities

- Comfortable working weekends when required

Previous retail, sales, hospitality or customer service experience is helpful, but not essential for the right person.

We would rather hire someone with the right attitude and train them properly than hire someone experienced who doesn’t care.
