We are seeking a friendly, relatable, and patient male NDIS support worker to act as a mentor and older brother figure for a teenage male in the Lower North Shore area (near Chatswood).
The Role
- Focus on building the participant's confidence and independence through community outings, engaging conversations, and exploring shared interests.
- Provide consistent, long-term support to build a robust, trusting relationship.
- Approximately 4 hours per week.
Requirements:
- Fluent English communication skills (Essential).
- A calm, gentle demeanor and a patient approach to communication.
- Experience supporting individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is highly regarded.
