About the role

We are seeking an experienced chef to join our team at Scarborough's 3Eightnine', a casual dining establishment in Scarborough QLD 4020. As our new chef, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality meals, ensuring a consistently delightful dining experience for our customers.

What you'll be doing

1. Preparing and cooking a variety of dishes from our diverse menu

2. Ensuring all meals are prepared to the highest standards of quality and presentation

3. Maintaining a clean and organised kitchen environment

4. Collaborating with the front-of-house team to provide exceptional customer service

5. Monitoring stock levels and placing orders for necessary ingredients

6. Adhering to all relevant health and safety regulations

What we're looking for

1. Significant experience as a chef, ideally within the hospitality and tourism industry

2. Strong culinary skills and a passion for creating delicious, high-quality meals

3. Excellent time management and multitasking abilities

A keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards

5. Effective communication skills and the ability to work well in a team
