The opportunity DM3 Logistics is seeking a Logistics Allocator to join our growing team in West Kalgoorlie, WA. As a Logistics Allocator, you will play a crucial role in our fleet management operations, ensuring the efficient allocation of resources and the smooth coordination of logistics activities. This position is essential to maintaining our operational excellence and supporting the delivery of our services to clients across the region.

Key Responsibilities
Your day-to-day will be varied and fast-paced, encompassing:
- Allocating and scheduling fleet resources to meet client demands and operational requirements
- Coordinating load assignments and ensuring optimal vehicle utilisation across the fleet
- Monitoring and tracking shipments to ensure timely and accurate delivery
- Communicating with drivers and operational staff to confirm pickup and delivery schedules
- Managing logistics databases and maintaining accurate records of shipments and allocations
- Responding to changes in orders and adapting allocations to meet agile requirements
- Resolving allocation conflicts and working to minimise delays or inefficiencies
- Liaising with customers to provide status updates and manage expectations
- Maintaining compliance with safety and regulatory requirements in all logistics operations




- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives to enhance allocation efficiency About you: We are looking for a professional who takes pride in "getting it right the first time." To be successful in this role, you will need:
- At least 2 years proven experience in logistics allocation, fleet coordination or a similar role within the transport and logistics industry
- Solid organisational and time management skills with the ability to juggle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Proficiency with logistics software and management systems, or a strong capability to quickly learn new systems
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact effectively with drivers, customers and colleagues
- Ability to work independently whilst being a collaborative team player in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in record-keeping and data entry
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to make quick, sound decisions under pressure
- Flexibility and adaptability to shift patterns or additional hours as required by business operations
- Valid Australian driver's licence and willingness to travel occasionally for operational purposes (preferred).
