The Systems Administrator is responsible for the effective administration, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the organisation’s Student Management System (SMS) and Learning Management System (LMS), including platforms such as Moodle and Wisenet. The role ensures system reliability, data integrity, and regulatory compliance, including adherence to standards set by Australian Skills Quality Authority and AVETMISS reporting requirements.

- System Administration & Maintenance
- User Management & Support
- LMS Course & Assessment Management (Moodle)
- Upload and manage course content and learning materials
- Configure LMS activities (assignments, quizzes, forums, gradebooks)
- Support advanced grading methods (rubrics, marking guides, assignment benchmarks)
- Ensure assessments align with compliance and academic integrity requirements
- SMS Data Management & Compliance




- Maintain accurate student enrolment and progression records
- Conduct data validation, audits, and reconciliation
- Generate compliance and management reports
- System Integration & Automation
- Manage integrations between SMS, LMS, and third-party systems
- Support automation of workflows (enrolments, notifications, reporting)
- Maintain API connections and data synchronisation
- Maintain system security, access controls, and user permissions
- Perform regular backups and disaster recovery processes
- Monitor and respond to security risks
- Ensure compliance with privacy legislation
- Reporting & Analytics
- Identify and implement system improvements
- Stay updated on LMS/SMS developments and best practices
- Support system upgrades and innovation initiatives Pay: $70,000.00 – $75,000.00 per year Work
