Personal Care Worker / Support Worker (Hiring in Box Hill, Glen Waverley, Ferntree Gully, Wantrina and surrounding subrubs) At Avenia Home care, we are dedicated to delivering exceptional, person-centered support services across our community. We are seeking compassionate, reliable, and empathetic Personal Care Workers to join our growing care team.

Key Responsibilities

- Personal Care: Assist clients with daily living tasks including showering, dressing, grooming, hygiene, and mobility support.
- Daily Living Support: Assist with meal preparation, light domestic chores, shopping, and essential errands.
- Community Integration: Accompany clients to medical appointments, social outings, and community activities to enhance engagement and well-being.
- Complex Support (Where Qualified): Provide specialized care assistance in line with client care plans (e.g., manual handling, hoist transfers).
- Documentation & Safety: Maintain accurate, timely shift notes and report any observed changes in a client's health, routine, or care needs. What We Are Looking For

Qualifications:

- Certificate III or IV in Individual Support, Aged Care,



Disability Support (or relevant Australian qualification / equivalent experience).
- Compliance & Certifications:
- Current First Aid and CPR certificates.
- Valid National Police Clearance (or willing to obtain).
- NDIS Worker Screening Check.
- Valid Australian Driver’s License with access to a reliable, insured vehicle.
- Working with Children Check (WWCC).
- Attributes:

- Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
