Position: Graphic Designer

Location:
Ideally Canberra, client would consider Melbourne, Sydney or Brisbane. Duration: 6-12 months RESPONSIBILITIES
- Create visually compelling graphics for various internal and external communications, including presentations, documentation infographics and promotional materials.
- Collaborate with professional print vendors to prepare, refine, and deliver press‑ready artwork that meets production standards and brand quality.
- Collaborate with the team to develop and maintain consistent branding and visual identity across all materials.
- Assist in the design and layout of print, and digital assets.
- Develop and produce multimedia content for various platforms ensuring a high level of quality and creativity.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute innovative ideas for improving visual and user experience elements.
- Support the redevelopment of online spaces by designing user friendly interfaces and content, enhancing the overall user experience.
- Work closely with the Experience Designer to plan, wireframe, and prototype new features for online platforms.
- Ensure all design work is aligned with the goals and adhere to brand guidelines.



ESSENTIAL CRITERIA
- Proven experience as a Graphic Designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing a range of design works.
- Proficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and the Microsoft Office suite (Word and PowerPoint).
- Strong understanding of design principles, including typography, colour theory, and layout.
- Excellent attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting (at times).
- Strong communication and collaboration skills. DESIRABLE CRITERIA
- Knowledge of user experience (UX) design principles and best practices.
- Experience with wireframing and prototyping tools such as Figma.
- Understanding of responsive design and accessibility standards.
- Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and web development processes.
- Willingness to learn and develop user experience design skills. QUALIFICATIONS/TRAITS A minimum of 4+ years of experience working at a digital agency as a Graphic Designer or UI Designer
