About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Planning Analyst to support our PM Shift operation. This role plays a critical part in ensuring labour resources, warehouse capacity and operational planning activities are aligned with customer demand. This is not a traditional reporting analyst role. We are looking for someone with proven experience in labour planning within a warehouse, distribution centre, logistics or 3PL environment. Hours for this role are 1:30pm
- 10:00pm, Monday to Friday. Working closely with Operations leaders, you'll use data and forecasting to optimise workforce requirements, improve productivity and support operational decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop labour plans and workforce forecasts based on customer demand and operational volumes
- Analyse warehouse productivity, labour utilisation and performance trends
- Build and maintain automated reports, dashboards and planning tools
- Review warehouse and AutoStore data to identify improvement opportunities
- Analyse SKU profiles, order volumes and workflow patterns to improve operational efficiency
- Support capacity planning and resource allocation across the operation
- Provide actionable insights to Operations leaders through data analysis and reporting
- Investigate operational performance issues and recommend solutions
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve productivity and service outcomes

- Experience in labour planning, workforce planning or operational planning
- Experience within a warehouse, distribution centre, logistics or 3PL environment
- Advanced Excel skills including formulas, pivot tables, reporting and data analysis
- Experience using Power BI and/or other reporting tools
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capability
- Experience working with large datasets and translating data into operational decisions
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills Highly Regarded
- Experience in an automated warehouse environment
- Experience using AutoStore, WMS or labour management systems
- Experience with Power Query, SQL or Microsoft Access
- Exposure to capacity planning and warehouse productivity analysis
