An established manufacturing business in Perth's southern suburbs is seeking an experienced and organised Estimator & Production Coordinator to join its team. This is a wide-ranging, hands-on role combining construction estimating, procurement and production scheduling. You'll work closely with management and the production team to ensure projects progress smoothly from initial quotation through to manufacture and delivery. ##

About the Role

Key responsibilities
include:
- Preparing accurate estimates and material take-offs from architectural and construction drawings
- Calculating material quantities, labour requirements and associated costs
- Obtaining supplier pricing and preparing quotations
- Applying knowledge of the National Construction Code (NCC), relevant Australian Standards and building requirements
- Coordinating production schedules and monitoring project progress
- Raising purchase orders and organising material procurement
- Liaising with suppliers, customers and internal teams
- Coordinating incoming materials and outgoing freight
- Maintaining accurate estimating, costing and project records
- Identifying discrepancies and assisting with improvements to estimating and production processes ## About You We're looking for someone who is practical, detail-oriented and confident managing multiple projects and priorities.



Ideally, you'll have:
- Previous experience in construction estimating or a similar role
- The ability to confidently read and interpret architectural and construction drawings
- A sound understanding of the NCC, relevant Australian Standards and residential construction requirements
- Good knowledge of building materials and construction methods
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Excellent attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Good Excel and general computer skills
- Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving Desirable, but not essential:
- Experience with CostX, Buildsoft or similar estimating software
- Qualifications in construction, building, architectural technology or engineering
- Experience in manufacturing, prefabrication or production scheduling
