of approximately 20+ hours per week, this role is ideal for an experienced finance professional looking for a rewarding part time opportunity within a growing company. This is a work-from-home position, with an initial period of in-office onboarding to meet the team, receive training and become familiar with our systems and processes before transitioning to remote work. Your
key responsibilities
will include:
- Managing accounts receivable and payable.
- Preparing and processing customer invoices.
- Overseeing payroll and superannuation.
- Maintaining accurate financial records and bank reconciliations.
- Preparing financial reports and monitoring cash flow.
- Assisting with budgeting and financial forecasting.
- Supporting GST, BAS and other financial obligations.
- Managing accounting software and improving financial processes.
- Monitoring business expenses and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
- Providing financial guidance and support to management.
- Supporting the financial operations and ongoing growth of the business. The ideal candidate:
- 2–4 years of experience in accounting, finance or a similar role.
- Relevant qualifications in Accounting, Finance or Business highly regarded.
- Experience using accounting software such as Xero, MYOB or similar.
- Strong knowledge of accounts receivable, payable, payroll and financial reporting.
- Understanding of Australian taxation, GST, BAS and superannuation requirements.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail.
- Confident working independently, managing priorities and taking initiative.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Reliable, proactive and enthusiastic about contributing to a growing business. Pay: $60,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
