We are seeking an enthusiastic Head Chef to join and lead our tavern kitchen team situated on the central coast. On offer is a competitive rate, free gym membership located onsite, excellent team environment and a 9 day Fortnight The Wyong Milk Factory Tavern is a Licensed Venue located just 2 km from the Train Station but nestled in the rural hinterland of the Central Coast. We continue to expand our menu choices. Our aim is to be a friendly and affordable destination for local families and local tourism offering quality food, drinks and entertainment. With a solid focus on functions and events also key to our ongoing success. On site we have the Cafe, Tavern, a Delivery service, Donut Shop, Beauty and Wellness businesses, a Cheesemaker, a Chocolatier, Allsorts Gym, Woodturners, a Gift shop, Boat and Kayak Hire etc etc We are a kitchen that prepares fresh food and as such food preparation is a key factor in our success. Qualifications & experience
- Minimum 2 years experience as a Sous or Head Chef
- Certificate in Commercial Cookery Cert 3 & or Cert 4
- Passion to create quality food made with fresh ingredients. Ideally you have experience in all areas of a kitchen including wood fire Pizza, however this is not essential.




- Creating an exciting and managable Menu
- The ability to work and lead an effective team which includes 2 capable apprentice chefs
- Maintain a clean food safe kitchen and safe environment for Workplace, Health and Safety, Food Health Safety Supervisor Cert Required.
- Your work will include but not limited to, Managing your orders, Cooking and preparing of food, Plating up and monitoring of portion control. Tasks & responsibilities
