Test Manager – Data & ETL | 6–12 Month Contract ? Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane | Hybrid ? 6–12 month contract Our client, a leading global technology services organisation, is partnering with a major Australian financial services organisation on a large-scale data transformation program. We are seeking an experienced Test Manager to lead end-to-end testing and quality assurance across a major enterprise data platform initiative. This role requires robust ETL and data testing expertise , combined with proven experience leading complex testing programs across modern cloud and legacy data environments.

Key responsibilities

- Own the overall test strategy, planning, governance and quality standards
- Lead ETL, integration, regression, system, reconciliation, performance and UAT activities
- Manage source-to-target validation, data transformation testing, data integrity and reconciliation
- Coordinate testing across Amazon Redshift, Fivetran, Databricks, dbt, SAS and Oracle
- Manage test estimation, resources, execution, defects, risks and release readiness
- Drive automation and reusable data-validation approaches
- Lead defect triage and provide clear reporting to senior stakeholders
- Work closely with data engineering,



architecture, product and business teams
- Lead and coach test leads and engineers across multiple workstreams What we’re looking for:
- Strong experience as a Test Manager / Data Test Manager within complex enterprise environments
- Extensive ETL, data warehouse, data lake or data platform testing experience
- Advanced SQL and strong data validation/reconciliation skills
- Experience with Databricks and/or Amazon Redshift
- Exposure to Fivetran, dbt, SAS and Oracle highly regarded
- Experience leading testing for data migration or cloud modernisation programs
- Strong stakeholder management, governance and reporting capabilities
