Projects range from mine‑site water supply to deep artesian bore drilling. Are you interested in joining our high performing Drill & Blast team as a Shotfirer? Here’s what you’ll be doing:
- Plan, prepare and execute blasting activities in line with site requirements and strict safety standards
- Safely handle, transport, store and charge explosives and initiating systems
- Set out blast patterns, load blast holes and establish secure firing connections
- Conduct pre
- and post-blast inspections to ensure safe, efficient and compliant operations
- Maintain accurate records including explosive usage, blast reports and performance data
- Work closely with site teams to deliver safe, compliant and productive blasting outcomes What You Bring:
- A current Shotfirer's Licence
- Experience as an Appointed Shotfirer within different environments in Drill and Blast
- NONEL/Detcord experience (essential)
- Dangerous Goods Security Card
- Full drivers licence (HR desirable)
- Strong understanding of blasting procedures and safety protocols
- National Police Clearance
