Senior SACE Tutor (Years 11–12, All Subjects) – Western, Eastern & Inner Southern Adelaide

Pay: $40–$50 per hour

Location: In-home tutoring across suburbs around the Adelaide city such as Prospect, Walkerville, St Peters, Norwood, Linden Park, Fullarton, Unley, Marleston, Mile End, Thebarton and beyond.

Hours: Weeknights from 4pm + weekend days, built around your uni timetable

Stellar Study is a locally owned Adelaide tutoring business run by its two founders. We’re not a national agency with thousands of tutors on the books. When you join us, you deal directly with the people running the business, and we know every tutor and family by name.

Senior students are our biggest area of demand, and families in the west, east and inner south are waiting on tutors right now. Methods, Chemistry, English, Legal Studies, Psychology, Biology or anything in between: if you know a subject inside out, there’s a student who needs you.

The Role
You’ll tutor Year 11 and 12 students one-on-one in their homes or at a local library, in any SACE subject you’re confident in. You’ll prepare them for SATs, exams and assessment tasks, help them manage the workload, and keep them on track through to the end of Year 12.

What We’re Looking For

- Currently studying at university, or a recent Year 12 graduate
- ATAR of 90+ or equivalent (e.g. IB)
- An A or above in each SACE (or IB equivalent) subject you want to tutor
- Up-to-date knowledge of current SACE content and assessment formats
- Living in or near our service areas
- An ABN, or willingness to get one (tutors work as contractors)

What We Expect

- Willingness to take on at least 4 students
- Availability on at least 3 nights a week
- A commitment to tutor for at least one full school year. Senior students can’t afford a tutor change mid-year.
- Transparent communication and prompt replies, especially when we offer you a student
- A current driver’s licence and access to your own car
- A current Working With Children Check, or willingness to get one before starting
