Part-Time | 15–20 Hours Per Week | Evening Work Only
We are looking for a reliable and experienced Café Cook to join our team at our busy Italian café pizzeria.
We serve an à la carte menu featuring traditional Italian dishes, pasta, pizzas and other café favourites. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their cooking, works well under pressure and enjoys being part of a friendly kitchen team.
About the Role
- Part-time position, approximately 15–20 hours per week
- Evening shifts only
- Rostered Tuesday to Sunday
- Weekend availability is essential
- Preparing and cooking dishes from our à la carte Italian menu
- Maintaining high standards of food quality, presentation and consistency
- Ensuring the kitchen is clean, organised and compliant with food safety standards
- Working efficiently during busy service periods
- Assisting with food preparation, stock rotation and general kitchen duties
About You
- Previous experience as a café cook, restaurant cook or similar role
- Experience with Italian food and à la carte service is highly regarded
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable, punctual and well organised
- Able to work efficiently in a busy kitchen
- Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene
- Available for evening and weekend shifts
