Yarning Crescent is an Aboriginal-led commercial cleaning business recruiting Facility Cleaners for a large corporate and operational site in Western Sydney.

We are looking for reliable cleaners to help maintain offices, reception areas, meeting rooms, kitchens, toilets, showers, staff lunchrooms and locker areas.

Multiple positions are available, with steady hours, Award rates, training provided and opportunities to progress into Leading Hand and Supervisor roles.

THE ROLE

- Vacuum, mop, dust and sanitise offices and staff facilities
- Clean reception areas, meeting rooms, kitchens, toilets and showers
- Empty bins and manage waste
- Restock bathroom, kitchen and other consumables
- Clean glass and other surfaces
- Complete periodic cleaning tasks, including high dusting and detail cleaning
- Assist with floor care, including scrubbing, stripping and sealing
- Complete carpet extraction and other periodic cleaning as required
- Safely use cleaning equipment, machinery and chemicals (training provided)
- Complete assigned tasks using our work app
- Report hazards, damage or maintenance issues

SHIFT & HOURS

- 20–38 hours per week
- Evening shifts from approximately 5:00pm after office hours
- Monday to Friday plus Sunday work
- Midday amenities services may be available on weekdays
- Occasional Saturday periodic cleaning
- Part time and full-time positions available

PAY

Rates are paid in accordance with the Cleaning Services Award 2020 (MA000022), including applicable shift, weekend and other penalty rates.

- From $31.14 per hour Monday–Friday Days
- From $35.20 per hour Monday–Friday Nights
- From $58.22 per hour Sundays
- Casual rates from $33.85 per hour
- All applicable penalties and loadings are paid

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR





- Reliable and punctual people who take pride in their work
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Physical capacity for active cleaning work, including lifting up to 15kg
- Right to work in Australia
- Willingness to obtain a National Police Check
- Willingness to complete a site safety induction

EXPERIENCE

Commercial or office cleaning experience is helpful but not essential.

The following are also advantageous:

- Certificate III in Cleaning Operations
- Experience using floor scrubbers or other cleaning machinery
- Experience with carpet extraction
- Driver licence and own transport

Training will be provided for the right candidates.
