About the role
Responsible for the implementation of quality standards and testing procedures for steel fabrication.
Key responsibilities
- Organise QA testing, record keeping and welding inspections.
- Record and maintain in-process and final inspection records for QA and production control.
- Assist Workshop Foreman as required in the Workshop About you
- Capable of reading and understanding steel fabrication drawings and an understanding of weld procedures and traceability.
- Relevant QA qualifications in steel fabrication required.
- Familiar with ISO 9001 Quality Management System & CC3 Accreditation requirements.
- Must be able to work unsupervised and in a team workplace.
- Professional work ethics, critical thinking skills and attention to detail necessary. Standard hours 7.00am
- 3.30pm Monday to Friday with regular overtime required.
