Based at our Kepa Road office in Murray Bridge and reporting to the Farms Infrastructure Manager, you’ll be a hands-on member of our Maintenance Team, keeping farm infrastructure, buildings and equipment safe, reliable and running across our South Australian sites. Your

key responsibilities
will include:
- Carrying out general maintenance and repairs to farm buildings, sheds, gates, fencing, pens, flooring and other infrastructure.
- Servicing and maintaining farm equipment, machinery and utilities, and helping with fault finding and breakdown repairs to minimise downtime.
- Completing basic welding and fabrication, including making, modifying and repairing farm infrastructure and part assemblies in the workshop.
- Assisting with plumbing, carpentry, painting and general repair work,



and supporting tradespeople and contractors on site.
- Supporting effluent and waste management, including drainage, waste collection and the appropriate disposal of deceased animals.
- Providing site support such as delivering drinking water, fuelling vehicles and machinery, filling gas bottles, and receiving and storing deliveries.
- Doing routine inspections, keeping maintenance records accurate, and responding promptly to breakdowns, power outages and severe weather events.
- Working safely around livestock and following all site biosecurity, animal welfare and WHS requirements. To be successful in this role, you’ll bring:
- Experience in a maintenance, trade assistant, labouring or similar hands-on role
- Basic welding and fabrication experience
- A mechanical mind with strong practical problem-solving skills
- The ability to use hand and power tools safely and confidently
- A current driver’s licence and a willingness to travel between sites
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team, and to manage a diverse workload
- Comfort working outdoors in all weather conditions Desirable:
- Experience in agriculture, livestock or piggery operations
- A welding qualification
- A forklift licence
- Telehandler or skid steer experience
- Experience maintaining agricultural equipment
- Completion of the Stockperson Skillset modules of the Certificate III in Pork Production
