THE ROLE We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Graduate Accountant to join our Finance team. This is an exciting opportunity for a recent accounting or finance graduate looking to start their career in a supportive and professional setting. RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform weekly and monthly bank reconciliations
- Perform weekly and monthly corporate credit card reconciliations and ensure compliance with company policies
- Assist with accounts payable processes
- Assist with financial analysis and supplier review
- Support the month-end and year-end financial reporting process, including general ledger entries and account reconciliations
- Liaise with internal stakeholders to provide financial analysis and resolve discrepancies
- Ad hoc tasks and projects ABOUT YOU
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance (or nearing completion)
- Working toward CPA / CA qualification is desirable
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
- Exposure to accounting software (e.g. Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, Xero, or similar) is desirable but not essential
- Exposure to AI and its application in financial accounting and analysis is desirable
- A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and grow
