Job Summary:

We are looking for a reliable, hardworking and motivated Kitchen Hand / Dishwasher to join our kitchen team. The successful candidate will assist with general kitchen duties, dishwashing, cleaning and maintaining a clean, safe and organised kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Wash dishes, pots, pans, utensils and kitchen equipment.
- Keep the kitchen, dishwashing area and workstations clean and tidy.
- Assist chefs and kitchen staff with basic food preparation when required.
- Clean and sanitise kitchen surfaces, floors and equipment.
- Empty rubbish bins and dispose of waste properly.
- Receive and store kitchen supplies when required.
- Follow food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen storage areas.
- Assist with other general kitchen duties as required.
- Work efficiently as part of a team during busy service periods.

Skills and Requirements





- Previous kitchen hand or dishwashing experience is an advantage but not essential.
- Good time management and organisational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Reliable, punctual and hardworking.
- Positive communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and maintain high cleaning standards.
- Physically fit and able to stand for extended periods.

Employment Type: Casual

Pay: $26.44 – $42.42 per hour

Expected hours: 10.0 – 30.0 per week
