About the Role
Strive To Achieve Support is seeking a compassionate, patient and reliable female Disability Support Worker to provide person-centred support to a participant with autism. We are particularly interested in candidates who have personal or qualified experience supporting children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), including parents or carers who have lived experience navigating autism-related needs. Preferred Experience and Attributes
- Female support worker preferred for this role.
- Experience supporting children with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
- Lived experience as a parent or carer of a child with autism is highly valued.
- Understanding of autism, sensory needs, communication differences and emotional regulation.
- Patient, understanding and able to build positive relationships.
- Reliable, compassionate and committed to person-centred support.




- Ability to follow individual support plans and maintain professional boundaries. Mandatory Requirements
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check.
- Current Working With Children Check (WWCC)
- Current First Aid and CPR certificates.
- Australian driver's licence.
- Reliable, insured and registered vehicle.
- Right to work in Australia.
- Completion of relevant NDIS Worker Orientation Module.
