Role Description The Courier Driver role is a full-time, on-site position based in Gawler Belt, SA. This role involves safely operating company vehicles to collect, transport, and deliver freight to customers and depots in a timely and professional manner. Daily tasks include loading and unloading goods, verifying delivery documentation, following scheduled routes, and maintaining transparent communication with dispatch and customers. The Courier Driver is responsible for basic vehicle checks, reporting any issues, and adhering to all road, safety, and company policies. The role also requires presenting a professional image,



providing courteous service at delivery locations, and supporting the team with general logistics and warehouse tasks as needed. Qualifications
• Valid driver’s license appropriate for commercial courier work; clean driving record and strong knowledge of local roads and traffic regulations.
• Experience in courier, delivery, or freight transport; ability to handle, secure, and protect a range of goods during loading and unloading.
• Strong time management and route planning abilities, with reliable punctuality and attention to detail in documentation and delivery processes.
• Good communication and customer service skills, including courteous interaction with clients and clear coordination with the operations team.
• Basic vehicle care skills, including conducting pre-trip inspections and reporting maintenance or safety concerns promptly.
• Physical ability to lift, carry, and maneuver packages safely, following manual handling guidelines.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while contributing positively to a small, family-oriented team environment.
• Previous experience in transport logistics or warehousing in Australia is desirable; understanding of safety and compliance requirements is an advantage.
