We are seeking a friendly, relatable, and patient male NDIS support worker to act as a mentor and older brother figure for a teenage male in the Lower North Shore area (near Chatswood). The Role:
• Focus on building the participant's confidence and independence through community outings, engaging conversations, and exploring shared interests.
• Provide consistent, long-term support to build a robust, trusting relationship.
• Approximately 4 hours per week.
Requirements:
• Fluent English communication skills (Essential).
• A calm, gentle demeanor and a patient approach to communication.
• Experience supporting individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is highly regarded.
