Role Description The Sales Attendant is a full-time, on-site role based in Perth, WA, supporting customers throughout their in-store journey. This role involves greeting and engaging customers, understanding their needs, and recommending furniture and bedding solutions that align with their style, budget, and home requirements. The Sales Attendant will demonstrate product features, maintain well-presented displays, and ensure the showroom is clean, organized, and inviting. Daily tasks include processing sales and returns, handling payment transactions, updating stock information, and coordinating with other team members to meet store targets.



The role also requires following company policies and procedures, staying up to date with product ranges and promotions, and contributing to a positive, supportive team culture. Qualifications
• Customer service and sales skills, including the ability to build rapport, identify customer needs, and provide tailored product recommendations.
• Retail and point-of-sale experience, with competency in handling cash, processing transactions accurately, and managing basic store administration.
• Communication and interpersonal skills, including clear verbal communication, active listening, and a professional, friendly approach with diverse customers.
• Visual merchandising and product presentation skills, with attention to detail in maintaining displays, stock presentation, and store cleanliness.
• Teamwork and reliability, including the ability to collaborate with colleagues, follow direction, and contribute to meeting sales and operational goals.
• Basic computer literacy and comfort learning new systems, including inventory and sales platforms.
• Previous experience in furniture, bedding, or homewares retail is beneficial but not essential.
• Availability to work a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays, and the ability to stand for extended periods and safely handle light to moderate lifting.
