Mezepotamia is a contemporary Middle Eastern restaurant and wine bar in the heart of Redfern. We're looking for an experienced, reliable and passionate Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team.

Our menu focuses on fresh ingredients, bold flavours, charcoal cooking and modern Middle Eastern cuisine.

About the Role

You'll work closely with our Head Chef and kitchen team, helping maintain high standards of food quality, consistency and presentation.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Working confidently across different kitchen sections, including hot kitchen, grill and cold preparation.
- Preparing and delivering dishes to a consistently high standard.
- Managing your section independently during busy services.
- Assisting with food preparation, stock rotation and kitchen organisation.
- Maintaining food safety and hygiene standards.
- Supporting the team to ensure smooth and efficient service.

What We're Looking For

- Minimum 2 years' experience as a Chef de Partie or in a similar role.
- Ability to rotate between sections and adapt to different responsibilities.




- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Confidence working under pressure in a busy restaurant.
- A positive attitude, reliability and strong teamwork.
- Experience with Middle Eastern or Mediterranean cuisine is an advantage, but not essential.
