Job description:

Residential Cleaners Wanted – Sydney | $35–41/hour | Flexible Daytime Hours | Car Essential

Equilux Cleaning Co is a growing Sydney cleaning company built on fairness, trust and pride in the work. We’re looking for reliable, detail-focused cleaners with their own car to join our team cleaning homes across Sydney.

Why work with us

- Great pay. $32–41 per hour, well above the industry average. We’re a small business, and we attract the best cleaners by paying them well.
- Paid for your travel. Car allowance per km driven between jobs, plus paid travel time between homes.
- Flexible hours. Mostly weekday daytime shifts that fit around your life.
- Paid on time, every time. Paid fortnightly by bank transfer, plus super.
- Bonuses for great work. We reward cleaners who go above and beyond, with performance bonuses and incentives for consistently high-quality cleans, reliability and great client feedback.
- A team that values you. You’re never just a number here.

What we offer

- Regular, recurring clients, so you see the same homes and build relationships
- Weekly and fortnightly cleans, plus occasional deep cleans and end-of-lease cleans
- Jobs grouped by area to keep driving to a minimum
- Shifts that suit your schedule
- Performance bonuses and incentives, such as quality bonuses, reliability rewards and recognition for standout cleans
- Real opportunities to grow, including team leader roles as we expand

The role

- Clean homes solo or with a teammate
- Recurring cleans, plus occasional deep cleans

- Focus on kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, living areas and floors
- Dusting, vacuuming, mopping, wiping surfaces, changing linen and tidying
- Follow our checklists so every clean meets the Equilux standard
- Take before and after photos of your work
- Treat every home with care and respect, and secure it properly when you leave (keys, alarms, lights, pets)

About you

- Cleaning experience is a must, with 2 years minimum (residential cleaning is a plus)
- Your own car and a full, valid driver’s licence (essential), so you can get between homes and carry cleaning supplies
- Trustworthy and respectful. You’ll be working in clients’ homes, often while they’re out.
- Friendly, with strong communication skills and a professional attitude
- Reliable, punctual and detail-focused
- Comfortable around pets

Requirements

- A National Police Check

- The right to work in Australia
- A Tax File Number

Pay

- Weekend penalty rates apply
- Car allowance per km between jobs, plus paid travel time between homes
- Plus 12% super, paid fortnightly
- Performance bonuses and incentives for great work
