What you can look forward to:

Northern Star has fantastic opportunities for experienced Process Technicians across our three major operational sites - Carosue Dam, Jundee and Thunderbox. These positions will require you to be responsible for keeping the Process Plant running safely and efficiently.

- Ensuring the effective recovery of gold from ore processed whilst minimising costs
- Monitoring the process with sampling procedures to ensure targeted metallurgical recoveries are being met
- Undertaking hazard analysis, ensuring all accidents and incidents are reported
- Identifying/reporting maintenance requirements for plant and equipment through the undertaking of workplace inspections
- Maintaining a high standard of housekeeping, cleanliness, and tidiness around the plant

Where you’ll add value:

- Solid experience working in a gold processing plant.
- Demonstrated commitment to safe work practices and strong attention to detail.
- Experience operating across crushing, Control Room operations, Carbon in Leach (CIL), and Tailings Storage Facility (TSF) management.

Qualifications

- Current Australian C Class Driver's Licence (Mandatory)
- Desirable Tickets & Licences - Working at Heights, Confined Space, White Card, Loader / Integrated Tool Carrier (IT), Skid Steer, Forklift, Telehandler
- Highly Regarded: Elution circuit operations, Gravity circuit operations, Gold Room operations
