Key Duties and Responsibilities

Wash dishes, pots, pans, utensils and kitchen equipment.

Clean and sanitise kitchen benches, floors and food preparation areas.

Assist chefs with basic food preparation, such as washing, peeling and cutting vegetables.

Unpack and store food deliveries correctly.

Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen.

Remove rubbish and dispose of waste appropriately.

Follow food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety standards.

Assist with stock rotation and storage.

Support chefs and other kitchen staff during busy service periods.

Ensure cleaning equipment and supplies are properly maintained.

Pay: $26.44 – $27.00 per hour
