Kitchen Hand – Humble Rays
About the Role
Humble Rays is looking for a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Hand to join our kitchen team.
This role mainly involves keeping the kitchen clean and organised, washing dishes, cutlery, cups and kitchen equipment, as well as assisting our chefs with basic food preparation and general kitchen tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Washing and cleaning dishes, cutlery, cups, pots, pans and kitchen equipment.
- Keeping the dishwashing area clean, organised and running smoothly.
- Assisting chefs with basic food preparation, including cutting, peeling and preparing ingredients.
- Helping chefs by collecting ingredients, equipment and supplies when needed.
- Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene throughout the kitchen.
- Taking out rubbish and keeping work areas tidy.
- Supporting the kitchen team with other general tasks as required.
What We're Looking For
- Hardworking, reliable and punctual.
- Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- Willing to learn and take instructions.
- Previous kitchen hand or hospitality experience is an advantage, but not essential.
- Positive attitude and attention to cleanliness.

Pay: $26.44 – $32.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15.0 – 25.0 per week
